Our daughter made eho-maki ("lucky direction roll") for Setsubun on Feb 2, 2013. Setsubun is a Japanese festival to celebrate the start of spring. It is customary to eat eho-maki in silence on Setsubun while facing the year's lucky direction. This year is south-southeast. We hope everyone has a good 2013!
