Mount Abu: IAF helicopters resume operation to control raging blaze; Watch Video | Oneindia News

Indian Air force deployed 2 MI-17 V5 helicopters in operation of controlling the raging blaze by pouring litres of water to douse the wildfire in Mount Abu, Rajasthan. 2 aircraft made at least19 maneuvers delivering over 53,000 litres of water. Reportedly, fire around Arna village was said to be dangerously close to inhabited area and is being doused on priority. Close to the famous sunset point on Mount Abu it prompted the district administration to seek IAF's assistance. Since April 14, total of 100 shuttles have been executed so far delivering over 2.60 lakh litres of water. Watch the video of operation here.
